Overall, Purpose of The Role

The Senior Marketing Officer will oversee all marketing activities across all business lines that management will advise from time to time. The primary responsibility is to ensure Company visibility, branding, quality lead generation and subsequent conversion of Opportunities to new business
Additionally, The Marketing Officer will collaborate with the Revenue generation Managers and Operational Managers to ensure presence, positive vibe and come up with unique ways to distinguish Track and Trace from competition to ultimately maintain being the market leader and deliver the organizational Vision


  • Establish Channels of generating mined data that will form THE LIST of customers we target not limited to bodies such as (KEPSA, KAM,NTSA,KRA)
  • Establishing Data Mining Strategies apart from above
  • Come up with marketing plans each quarter on strategies and deliverables based on the current market needs
  • Identify what potential customers needs are in. the market and propose solutions to test
  • Come up with brand messaging to prospects from ideation to execution across all departments and modes of communication not limited to calling scripts, proposals, presentations that go to customers and blast messages to promotional signages
  • Provide feedback on solution offering weekly and areas of improvement as proposed by clients share areas of concern to the leadership for accountability
  • Prepare and make a report on market analysis, competitor analysis and market trends on a weekly basis.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends.
  • Ensure Customer relationship management (CRM module) in the ERP is strictly being followed to a point of THE LIST – Lead Narturing – Opportunity – Opportunity follow up with follow up notes to conversion
  • Achieve the set monthly targets that will be communicated to in lead generation opportunities and conversions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services
  • Attend proposed and guided industry events with an aim of generating leads
  • Develop partnerships and push for joint models that will see collaboration that brings business and visibility to the brand and revenue conversion
  • Identify and Explore digital platforms that suit our target market with an aim of frequently messaging and communication to achieve set visibility goals and revenue targets
  • Ensure the sales process is being followed to the latter
  • Ensure closure of all BANT Opportunities
  • Ensure presentations to all customers that require solutions
  • Ensure closure is done as soon as opportunities qualify to budget need authority and timeline
  • Ensure new customer sign up targets are met weekly
  • Ensure relationships with stakeholders in. partnerships are maintained
  • Key partners and stakeholders are established through brand humanizing and assuarance
  • Ensure targeted email sign ups are met
  • Ensure SMS Blast conversion targets are met

Qualifications and requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing or similar
  • Atleast 2 years experience in mid or senior marketing level with preffered interest on hands on marketing
  • Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies ,channels and branding consumer behaviour ,digital marketing, market research and advertising
  • Proven ability to drive the marketing processes from strategy to close
  • Strong business intellect and industry proficiency
  • Superb communication strategies on brand humanizing, tone delivery,messaging and call to action strategies
